André Gazaille
André Gazaille (born May 16, 1946 in Montréal ) is Bishop of Nicolet .
Life
André Gazaille was ordained a priest on May 29, 1971 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 11, 2006 auxiliary bishop in Montréal and titular bishop of Vaga . The Archbishop of Montréal, Jean-Claude Cardinal Turcotte , ordained him episcopal on March 25th of the same year; Co - consecrators were Jude Saint-Antoine , Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus in Montréal, and Anthony Mancini , Archbishop of Halifax and Apostolic Administrator of Yarmouth . As a motto he chose L'amour de Christ nous presse .
He was appointed Bishop of Nicolet on July 11, 2011, and was instituted on September 11 of the same year.
