Anthony Mancini
Anthony Mancini KGOHS (born November 27, 1945 in Mignano Monte Lungo ) is Archbishop of Halifax-Yarmouth .
Life
Anthony Mancini was ordained a priest on May 23, 1970 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Montréal and titular bishop of Natchitoches on February 18, 1999 . The Archbishop of Montréal, Jean-Claude Cardinal Turcotte , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Montréal Jude Saint-Antoine and André Rivest .
He was named Archbishop of Halifax and Apostolic Administrator of Yarmouth on October 18, 2007, and was introduced to the office of Archbishop of Halifax on November 29 of the same year. He was Apostolic Administrator of Antigonish from September 26 to November 21, 2009 during the Sedis vacancy . Benedict XVI. appointed him after the merger of the dioceses on December 7, 2011 as Archbishop of Halifax-Yarmouth.
