Thomas Flammer

Thomas Flammer (* 1975 in Salzgitter-Bad ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

From 1994 to 2000 he studied Catholic theology in Münster . From 1995 to 1996 and from 1997 to 1998 he was a student assistant at the Department of Medieval and Modern Church History ( Arnold Angenendt ), Catholic Theological Faculty, WWU Münster . From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a student assistant at the Collaborative Research Center 0231 Carriers, Fields, Forms of Pragmatic Writing in the Middle Ages (Arnold Angenendt / Hubertus Lutterbach ), WWU Münster. In 2000 he worked on the History of the Diocese of Münster project (Hubertus Lutterbach). Employed as a church employee at the diocese of Münster . From 2000 to 2004 he was a research assistant at the Department of Medieval and Modern Church History ( Hubert Wolf ), Catholic-Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. From 2004 to March 2019 he was scientific director of the Institute for the History of the Diocese of Münster. Research position at the Department of Medieval and Modern Church History, Catholic Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster. Since 2005 he has been a lecturer for church history at Faculty 02: Humanities and Cultural Studies ( University of Kassel ). Since doctorate in 2007 as Dr. theol. he is the managing director of the Institute for Religious Folklore. In 2016 he was appointed honorary professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies in Kassel . Since April 1, 2019, he has headed the Department for Art and Culture in the Diocese of Münster.
