Gallus gave the school of Saint Viktor a turn towards mysticism . In particular, he tied in with the mysticism of the so-called Pseudo-Dionysius Areopagita , on which he wrote a comprehensive commentary in four parts. He has also received numerous commentaries on biblical books.
