Thomas Goch (born October 4, 1970 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Thomas Goch played as a youth for VfL Luhetal, the game community Bispingen / Hützel / Steinbeck (SG BHS) and in the winter of 1988 switched to the A-youth team of FC St. Pauli. With this he rose in the same year in the then highest youth class, A-youth upper league. From the 1989/90 season he first played in the amateur team and was included in the professional squad from the 1991/92 season. He made his professional debut on March 14, 1992 in the 1-0 victory of the St. Paulians against SV Meppen . By 1994 Goch had played 16 games in the second division for St. Pauli before he moved to the regional division VfB Oldenburg . With VfB, Goch was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1996 and relegated again after just one year. In the 1998/99 season Goch played for the regional league club 1. SC Norderstedt , before moving to SC Verl for two years . It was followed by a year at the top division club SC Weyhe from Weyhe near Bremen , before Goch joined VfL Oldenburg . With the Oldenburgers he rose to the Lower Saxony league in 2004 . Two years later he moved to Kickers Wahnbeck , where he let his career end.
