Thomas Hardmeier

Thomas Hardmeier (born February 16, 1965 in Zurich , Switzerland ) is a Swiss cameraman .

Life

Thomas Hardmeier worked as a camera assistant for French film from 1986 to 1994, before making his debut as the chief cameraman with the documentary The slow death of the Sumatran rhinoceros , published in 1994 . Initially he worked in both Switzerland and France and then focused mainly on France, most recently making films such as Accomplices , 22 Bullets and Small World . In 2014 , he won a César in the Best Camera category for The Card of My Dreams . In 2015, he received a César nomination (best camera) for Yves Saint Laurent .
