Thomas Hurich (born April 6, 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Born in Vienna, he began playing handball at the Fivers Margareten handball club at an early age . From the 2009/10 season he moved up to the expanded squad of the Margaretner fighting team .

Then he played for WAT Fünfhaus until 2012, with the Viennese he took part in both the Handball Bundesliga Austria and the ÖHB Cup . In the cup, he even reached the semi-finals with the second division team in 2011/12 .

With the 2012/13 season Thomas Hurich moved to Union Leoben and played again in the Handball League Austria .

In March 2016 it was announced that the goalkeeper will play for Alpla HC Hard from 2016/17 . With Alpla HC Hard, Thomas Hurich was Austrian handball champion in the 2016/17 season, Austrian cup winner in 2017/18 and Austrian Supercup winner in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
