Thomas Jefferson Withers

Thomas Jefferson Withers (* 1804 in Ebenezer, York County , South Carolina ; † November 7, 1865 in Camden , Kershaw County , South Carolina) was a Confederate politician from the state of South Carolina who served in the Confederate Congress during the Civil War (1861-1864) served. He was also a judge in the state court in 1846, as well as a delegate from South Carolina at the Secession Convention of 1861. Withers died on November 7, 1865 in Camden, Kershaw County, South Carolina and was then buried in the "Quaker Cemetery" in Camden.
