Thomas Klepper (born April 7, 1965 ) is a former German soccer player .
career
Klepper played in the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt , with whom he, among other things, was able to become German A-Junior Champion in 1983. There he played in a successful and very talented class with Thomas Berthold , Armin Kraaz , Bernhard Trares and Dirk Borkenhagen . After that, Klepper first rose to the Frankfurt amateur team. In 1985 Eintracht Frankfurt and SV Darmstadt 98 signed a cooperation agreement. This stipulated that the Darmstadt-based young talented Eintracht players were included in their second division squad in order to enable them to play professional football there. In this way, Klepper, together with Trares and Stefan Wöber, came to SV Darmstadt 98. In his first season, Klepper made twelve appearances and in the following year the defender was able to establish himself at the Darmstadt team. The Frankfurters brought him back in 1987. Klepper was part of the permanent staff for two years, then a break-in followed. In the 1989/90 season he came only to a single league use. His contract was not renewed and he switched to amateur football. Overall, Klepper made 52 first and 39 second division games.
