Thomas Krokowski (born March 24, 1957 in Wipperfürth ) is a former German handball player .

In his youth, Krokowski started at SV Wipperfürth. At the age of 18 he moved to VfL Gummersbach . The defense specialist stayed there for 14 years and achieved a large number of national and international titles with the team. In the attack, Krokowski played in the left wing position in the first few years, later after Heiner Brand withdrew, he moved to the middle position. For VfL Gummersbach he played 316 Bundesliga games in which he scored 679 goals. In 1989 he moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he was active for two seasons. For Germany , Krokowski played 33 international matches, in which he scored 55 goals. From 1991 he was a "hobby player" at TS Bergisch Gladbach and TV Refrath in the regional and association leagues. Krokowski was the player-coach at TV Refrath.

From 1995 he was a sports manager at VfL Gummersbach for two years.

Krokowski has a degree in business administration and works as a managing director at a corporate communications agency. He lives in Herkenrath , is married and has two children.
