Thomas Luczak

Thomas Luczak (* 1952 in Hilden ) is an architect working in Cologne .

Life

Thomas Luczak studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University with a study visit to Italy. After working as an employee in Nikolaus Rosiny's office, among other things , he was able to set up his own office in partnership with Klaus Jürgensen thanks to success in competitions. Since 1996 he has been the owner of Luczak Architects in Cologne - Ehrenfeld in a partnership with Almut Skriver.

His fields of work include district planning and the renovation of old buildings in the area of ​​residential construction. Innovative new buildings are just as much a part of his work as the energetic renovation of existing buildings and subsidized housing.

As a member of the committee in the Climate Circle Cologne , he advocates the promotion of regional climate protection projects in the Cologne area.

Since 1995 he has been a member of the Association of German Architects and in 2006 he was admitted to the German Werkbund . In 2008 he became deputy chairman of the House of Architecture in Cologne .
