At the age of 12 he then joined the Montevideo Wanderers , to whom he remained loyal until 2010. He was in the squad of the Uruguayan first division club at least since the Apertura 2006. In August 2007, like Gerardo Alcoba , he tested positive for a doping control after a game against Bella Vista . There were minimal traces of cocaine . In the 2008/09 season, a goal of the season is occupied for the Montevideans. In the 2009/10 season he met twice in 29 appearances in the Primera División . He spent the 2010/11 season on loan at Club Atlético Peñarol . For the "Aurinegros" he played 19 league games and scored three times in the opposing goal. He also played there 14 games (one goal) in the Copa Libertadores and four matches (one goal) in the Copa Sudamericana . In August 2011 he joined the Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño . He has also made ten appearances (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores and three (one goal) in the Copa Sudamericana. With the team, he became Paraguayan champion in 2012 by winning the Torneo Apertura and in 2013 by winning the Torneo Clausura and was one of the top performers at Cerro Porteño in the three years of his club membership. In 2013 he was voted the best player in the Paraguayan League. In June 2014, Cerro Porteño loaned Corujo to the Chilean club CF Universidad de Chile with an option to buy . As a result, the Paraguayans had used the purchase option granted to them in the past. At the end of May 2012, negotiations between the Wanderers and Cerro Porteño resulted in a transfer fee of one million US dollars for 100% of the transfer rights. With the Chileans he was used 58 times (eight goals) in the Primera División . He contributed to the victory at the Copa Chile 2015/16 with three goals in four appearances.
