Thomas Mayer (journalist)
Thomas Mayer (* 1962 in Baden ) is an Austrian journalist and one of the founding editorial staff of the daily newspaper Der Standard .
Life
Mayer grew up in Tyrol and Burgenland . From 1982 he studied philosophy and literature in Graz.
From 1984 he worked as a journalist for the Falter and from 1986 to 1987 for the Kleine Zeitung . In 1988 he was part of the founding editorial team of the daily newspaper Der Standard . He is currently the senior editor at Standard for EU / NATO in Brussels .
