Thomas Offenloch

Thomas Offenloch (born June 18, 1972 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

Offenloch successfully completed his legal education in 1998 . In the following years he worked in the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg . Through the stations of Heilbronn District Court, Heilbronn Public Prosecutor's Office and Schwäbisch Hall District Court , his professional career led to his appointment as a judge at the District Court in 2001. This was followed by a secondment to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice . Since 2005 he has been working as a judge at the Baden-Baden Regional Court, now appointed as a judge at the regional court .

In 2007 he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant . In 2009 there was another secondment to the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe , this time six months . Since 2010 he has been employed again in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice. There he worked as head of department and deputy head of department. His appointment as a judge at the Higher Regional Court in the same year was followed by a promotion to the Senior Ministerial Council in 2011. On October 1, 2013, he was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice. There it belongs to VI. Civil Senate , which is primarily responsible for tort law .
