Thomas Regenfus

Thomas Regenfus (* 1977 in Erlangen ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

After graduating from the Marie-Therese-Gymnasium in Erlangen in 1996 and passing the first state examination in law in 2002, he was a research assistant at the Institute for Law and Technology from 2002 to 2006 . From 2003 to 2005 he was a trainee lawyer in the district of the Higher Regional Court in Nuremberg . After the second state examination in 2005, he was a research assistant at the Institute for Law and Technology from 2005 to 2006. From 2007 to 2009 he was a judge on probation / Judge at the Landgericht Nürnberg-Fürth (gen. Civil matters first instance, leased 1st and 2nd instance procedures after UKlaG, complaints estate and land registry). After completing his doctorate in 2007 “Complex litigation - enforcement of civil law defense claims in the event of official approval requirements”, he was a public prosecutor at the Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor's office from 2008 to 2009 . From 2009 to 2012, he was Councilor / senior civil servant in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection . After completing his habilitation in 2011, "Basic Law Requirements for Solving Property Law Conflicts of Assignment and Use" (venia legendi: civil law, civil procedural law, technical and economic law and legal theory) and his appointment as a private lecturer , he was a judge at the Nuremberg-Fürth regional court from 2012 to 2016 (general civil matters of the first instance; banking and capital market matters of the first and second instance; cooperation in administrative matters). From 2016 to 2017 he was an academic senior councilor at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen - Nuremberg . Since 2017 he has been a judge at the Nuremberg-Fürth Regional Court (general civil matters, 1st instance; banking and capital market matters, inheritance matters, 1st and 2nd instance; assistance in administrative matters). On March 4, 2019, he was appointed adjunct professor .
