Thomas Ridder (born December 13, 1972 in Essen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Ridder moved in 1991 from the youth of SV Friedrichsfeld to the amateur Oberliga Nordrhein to Rot-Weiss Essen , where he played a total of 67 games from 1991 to 1993, scoring 18 goals. He was then committed to SG Wattenscheid 09 . He played for Wattenscheid seven games in the Bundesliga , in which he scored a goal. On March 22, 1994 (26th matchday) he met goalkeeper Oliver Reck to equalize 2-2 for SG 09 against Werder Bremen . In addition, Thomas Ridder played 14 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and a total of 202 games (21 goals) in the Regionalliga in the course of his other club stations Preußen Münster , KFC Uerdingen 05 , SC Fortuna Cologne and Eintracht Braunschweig .

The former professional in the Oberliga Nordrhein at SSVg Velbert (2003-2005) and 1. FC Bocholt (2005-2007) ended his career . In 2007 Thomas Ridder joined the BW Weseler Zebras in the Lower Rhine District League. In the 2010/11 season Ridder plays under coach Franz-Josef Tenhagen for the national league club SV Grieth .

In the summer of 2011, he took over the coaching position at the district division club SV Bislich, but was dismissed there after a few months.

For the second half of the 2011/12 season, the now 39-year-old made his comeback as a player at GSV Moers in the Lower Rhine regional league . In the summer of 2012, Thomas Ridder became the new coach of the Dülmen district league team Sportfreunde Merfeld .
