The Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium , often briefly called Thomas Robinson Stadium , is a football stadium with an athletics facility in Nassau in the Bahamas . It is currently mainly used for soccer . The space was increased from the original 15,023 to 23,000 spectators in 2012. The old facility with seating for 9,100 spectators is located next to the new stadium.

The construction of the new stadium was co-financed by China .

The stadium was named after the sprinter Thomas A. "Tom" Robinson (* 1938), who competed in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games several times in the 1950s and 1960s.

The stadium was renovated for qualification for the Caribbean Championship 2005 .
