Thomas Roth (born April 6, 1974 ) is a German journalist . Since August 1st, 2017 he has been editor- in- chief at Trierischer Volksfreund in Trier .

Life

Roth completed his traineeship at the daily Fränkischer Tag in Bamberg . He then moved to the Braunschweiger Zeitung , where he was deputy editor-in-chief from 2011 to 2017. On August 1, 2017, he took over the position of editor-in-chief at Trierischer Volksfreund as the successor to Isabell Funk .
