Thomas Tharayil (clergyman, 1972)
Thomas Joseph Tharayil (born February 2, 1972 in Changanacherry , India ) is an Indian Syro-Malabar clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Changanacherry .
Life
On January 1, 2000, Thomas Tharayil received the sacrament of ordination for the Archeparchy of Changanacherry through Archbishop Joseph Powathil .
Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Agrippias and auxiliary bishop in Changanacherry on January 14, 2017 . The Archbishop of Changanacherry, Joseph Perumthottam , ordained him episcopally on April 23 of that year . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Joseph Powathil and the Bishop of Palai , Joseph Kallarangatt .
