The Archeparchy Changanacherry ( Latin Archieparchia Changanacherrensis ) is an archeparchy of the Syro-Malabar Church in Kerala , India, united with the Roman Catholic Church .
On July 28, 1896, the Vicariate Apostolic Changanacherry was established, on December 21, 1923 it was raised to the eparchy and July 29, 1956 to the archeparchy. On February 26, 1977 diocesan territories were given to the diocese of Kanjirapally and on November 11, 1996 to the diocese of Thuckalay .
The Dioceses of Kanjirapally, Palai and Thuckalay are subordinate to the Archepary.
