The diocese of Kanjirapally ( Latin Dioecesis Kanirapallensis ) is a diocese of the Syro-Malabar Church uniate with the Roman Catholic Church, with its seat in Kanjirapally in India . It includes the districts of Kottayam , Idukki and Pathanamthitta in the Indian state of Kerala .
history
Pope Paul VI founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Nos Beati on February 26, 1977 from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Palai and the Archeparchy of Changanacherry , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
