Jose Pulickal

Jose Pulickal (born March 3, 1964 in Inchiyani , India ) is an Indian Syro-Malabar clergyman and appointed Bishop of Kanjirapally .

Life

Jose Pulickal received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Kanjirapally on January 1, 1991 through Bishop Mathew Vattackuzhy .

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Lares and auxiliary bishop in Kanjirapally on January 12, 2016 . He received his episcopal ordination on February 4th of the following year by the Archbishop of Changanacherry , Joseph Perumthottam ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio to India, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio , and the Bishop of Kanjirapally, Mathew Arackal .

The Synod of Bishops of the Syro-Malabar Church elected him Bishop of Kanjirapally. Pope Francis confirmed this election on January 15, 2020.
