Titular diocese of Lares
The Diocese of Lares ( Italian diocesi di Lares , Latin Dioecesis Larensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of the same name in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis or in late antiquity Zeugitana in what is now northern Tunisia . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Carthage .
