Thomas Naickamparampil

Thomas Eusebios Naickamparampil (born June 6, 1961 in Mylapra , India ) is an Indian clergyman and bishop of Parassala .

Life

Thomas Naickamparampil received on 29 December in 1986 by the Syro-Malankara Catholic Archbishop of archeparchy Trivandrum , Benedict Varghese Gregorios Thangalathil OIC , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 14, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Lares and ordered him to Syro-Malankara Catholic Exarch of the United States. At the same time he was appointed Ordinary Apostolic Visitator to the Syro-Malankan congregations in Canada and Europe. The Syro-Malankara Catholic Grand Archbishop of Trivandrum, Isaac Cleemis Thottunkal , donated him episcopal ordination on September 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Battery , Joseph Thomas Konnath , and the Bishop of Mavelikara , Joshuah Ignathios Kizhakkeveettil . The inauguration took place on October 3, 2010.

With the elevation of the exarchate to the eparchy of St. Mary Queen of Peace of the United States and Canada , he became their first diocesan bishop.

On August 5, 2017, Pope Francis confirmed his election as the first bishop of the Parassala eparchy, which was established on the same date .
