Yoohanon Chrysostom Kalloor (born May 19, 1944 in Kadammanitta , India ) is an Indian syro-malankara Catholic clergyman and bishop emeritus of Pathanamthitta .

Life

Yoohanon Chrysostom Kalloor received on 5 May 1973, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 16, 1998, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of the Marthandom Eparchy . The Syro-Malankara Catholic Archbishop of Trivandrum , Cyril Baselios Malancharuvil OIC , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tiruvalla , Geevarghese Timotheos Chundevalel , and the Bishop of Battery , Geevarghese Divannasios Ottathengil . On January 25, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the first bishop of the Eparch Pathanamthitta, established on the same date.

The Syro-Malankan Synod accepted his age-related resignation on June 7, 2019.
