The Archdiocese of Bhopal ( Latin : Archidioecesis Bhopalensis ) is an archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in India .

history

The archdiocese was established on September 13, 1963 from areas of the dioceses Ajmer and Jaipur , Indore and Jabalpur after Bhopal became the capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh .
