Thomas Zetzmann (born December 14, 1970 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player who played three games in the 1st Bundesliga for Hertha BSC . Zetzmann has been a physiotherapist at Borussia Dortmund since 2010 .

In his youth, Thomas Zetzmann played for tennis Borussia Berlin and Borussia Dortmund , where he later also took his first steps in the men's field in the amateur team.

For the 1990/91 Bundesliga season Thomas Zetzmann moved to Hertha BSC . There he came under Pál Csernai in the second half of the season against VfB Stuttgart for his first league appearance. Two more assignments followed under Peter Neururer and Karsten Heine . But even the two coach changes could not prevent Hertha from being relegated from the bottom.

Zetzmann then moved to Rot-Weiss Essen for one season , before running a season for VfR Sölde from 1992 .

From 1993 Zetzmann played for five years for SpVgg Erkenschwick . Then he had to end his playing career due to injury.

Physiotherapist

After his playing career, Thomas Zetzmann became a physiotherapist and runs a physiotherapy practice in Essen with his twin brother Christian .

From 1999 to 2007 Zetzmann worked as a physiotherapist at Rot-Weiss Essen. He then took over the post as a physiotherapist in Borussia Dortmund's second team, before starting to work in the same role for the professionals in the 2010/11 season .
