criticism

In his book on sin , Dietz tried to make this Christian topic understandable even to people who are not Christians. This concern has been recognized in reviews, but some critics believe that Dietz only rudiments the meaning of the Bible. Tanja Bittner points out that Dietz puts the Bible alongside other “narratives” (such as novels or films). This shows similarities. Anything else that the Bible says is being neglected. Sin is then only when the great values of "tolerance, relativism or self-development" are violated. Franz Graf-Stuhlhofer judges similarly ; He draws the following conclusion: "In his book I find good questions, original approaches, numerous allusions and paraphrases, but no condensed illumination of this important topic based on the Bible as divine revelation."
