Location of Thulbach in Bavaria |
Thulbach is a church village in the municipality of Wang in Upper Bavaria .
history
Thulbach is mentioned as early as 754 in a deed of donation to the church there. Today's Catholic branch church St. Andreas is essentially a Romanesque choir tower church. The open Hofmark Thulbach, which also included Holzerhof and Zulehen, was part of the Moosburg Regional Court , which formed the western part of the former Landshut Rent Office . In Thulbach, as part of the administrative reforms in Bavaria in 1818/20, a second class patrimonial court was formed. This was merged with the patrimonial courts of Hagsdorf , Hörgertshausen , Mauern , Tegernbach and Thulbach formed in 1820 under the von Hofstetten family to form a joint second class patrimonial court named "Patrimonial Court of Walls". In 1848 the last remnants of the aristocracy were abolished. Thulbach came to Wang Ward.
