Thurn Castle with amusement park

A striking feature of the district is the baroque Thurn Castle, whose park has been operated as a leisure park by the Counts of Bentzel since the 1970s . In 1748 the cathedral chapter Lothar Philip Wilhelm, Baron von Horneck von Weinheim acquired the property. He had the former knight's castle transformed into a baroque pleasure palace.
