The XERVON GmbH is an internationally operating company for industrial services for the construction and maintenance of industrial plants with headquarters in Cologne .

The group is represented across Germany and has international locations and sister companies in Benelux, Austria, Poland, Scandinavia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Egypt and the Middle East.

The company has been part of the Remondis Group since 2011 , previously part of the ThyssenKrupp Group .

history

The company's roots go back to 1928, the year Ernst Peiniger GmbH , a company for chimney construction, was founded in Essen. October 1, 2005 was created by merger of ThyssenKrupp Plant Services GmbH with the PeinigerRöRo Group which ThyssenKrupp Xervon GmbH .

In 2006 ThyssenKrupp Xervon took over the service companies LLS Standardkessel Service and Baumgarte Boiler Service from the energy plant construction company Standardkessel and integrated them into the group as a subsidiary, ThyssenKrupp Xervon Energy . ThyssenKrupp Xervon also took over Siegfried Schlüssler Feuerungsbau GmbH , which specializes in refractory construction.

On August 23, 2011 ThyssenKrupp announced the sale of ThyssenKrupp Xervon to REMONDIS. Information on the purchase price was not given. The purchase agreement was only signed at the end of October, but the sale took effect retrospectively on April 1, 2011. In this context, ThyssenKrupp Xervon GmbH was renamed XERVON GmbH.

The Xervon Energy GmbH was 1 August 2012, the Hitachi Power Europe GmbH sold (HPE).

On January 1, 2013, the two areas of building maintenance and Plastocor were spun off into the independent companies XERVON Bauwerkserhaltung GmbH and XERVON Plastocor GmbH . The maintenance business area was transferred to the independent company XERVON Autovermietung GmbH on July 1, 2014 . The surface technology division was spun off into the independent company XERVON Oberflächentechnik GmbH on December 1, 2016 .

The BUCHEN and XERVON groups of companies work closely together under the umbrella of REMONDIS Maintenance & Services GmbH & Co. KG , which acts as a shareholder and service company, thus forming the industrial services division of the REMONDIS Group.

With around 7,000 employees, XERVON is a large international service company, particularly in the process industry . The core industries include chemicals , petrochemicals , the energy industry and the steel industry, as well as the construction and other sectors of the process industry.

With a turnover of around 900 million euros for REMONDIS Maintenance & Services GmbH & Co. KG in 2017, the company is number 3 in Germany in the field of industrial repair and maintenance .

The range of services extends from individual services, for example scaffolding , insulation and surface technology, to the maintenance of process systems, to comprehensive site management as well as the provision of infrastructure services and the operation of ancillary systems. Another XERVON specialty is shutdown management.

The XERVON Maintenance GmbH offers comprehensive individual services or complete services for the maintenance of production facilities and buildings for customers primarily in the chemical, petrochemical and energy industries.

The XERVON Surface Technology GmbH provides industrial corrosion protection and special coatings for steel structures, plant parts, containers and tanks. Another specialty is the professional concrete repair of infrastructure structures such as B. Bridges or dams as well as industrial plants and parking garages. In addition, it is the only provider in Germany to offer the high-quality Plastocor coating, a 2-component EP coating. It provides permanent protection against the effects of cooling water, industrial water, oil and compressed air and is carried out worldwide with our own experts and the associated special equipment.
