Reconstruction of the double-walled Allée couverte

Ti ar C'horriged ( Breton "House of Korrigans "; also Allée couverte from Lesconil ) is a megalithic complex near the commune of Poullan-sur-Mer in the Breton department of Finistère in France .

The gallery grave should not be confused with the Allée couverte by Kerbalannec from Beuzec-Cap-Sizun, also known as Ti ar C'horriged, or the "Bateau de pierre de saint Conogan" located about one and a half kilometers north in the municipality of Beuzec-Cap-Sizun.

It is an allée couverte (covered corridor) of the arcboutée or à dalles inclinées type , which is only available in Brittany. Systems of this type represent the simplest form of an enclosed space using megaliths. The special thing about them is that the side stones of the Allée are placed against each other like braces and horizontal cap stones have generally been dispensed with.

The plant is about 12 m long and 2.2 m wide. Eighteen monoliths have been preserved , which are stabilized by an enclosure made of 27 stones, which probably also delimited a mound of earth, but which has been completely eroded.

In Cornwall , south of the Monts d'Arrée in the Montagnes Noires and the Landes de Lanvaux some of these rare monuments have been preserved. Similar are those of Coat Menez Guen in Melgven, of Goulet-Riec in Riec-sur-Belon, the Loge-au-Loup near Trédion and Castel-Ruffel near Saint-Goazec .
