The Tiefenbach is the upper course and longer section of the Ginshamer Bach , in the further course a tributary to the Glonn in Upper Bavaria .
It arises north-north-west of the village of Aschhofen in the Feldkirchen-Westerham community on the edge of the Ried forest area and flows in a south-easterly direction in a forest valley that will soon be cut. There it is crossed by a way of the cross . Shortly afterwards it flows in the forest with the significantly shorter Kohlberggraben coming from the right and south-southwest, close to the municipal boundary to Markt Bruckmühl, to the Ginshamer Bach , which is named after the Bruckmühler village of Ginsham , which is only 800 meters southeast, and which this brook soon after following exit into the flatter hallway then flows through.
The Tiefenbach is about 2.9 km long, has a gradient of about 84 meters and thus a mean bed gradient of 25 ‰. It drains about 2.9 km².
