The Tiffanie is the half-hair variant of the Asian , which is only recognized by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy .

history

The first animals of this breed come from litters of pure-bred Burmese cats (Burmese) with sable- colored ( sable ) fur from the United States . By crossing with Burmese all colors of the Burmese cat and a medium-length coat could be achieved in Great Britain. The CFA does not currently list this breed.

Appearance

The animals of this breed have a light, milk coffee-brown fur at birth, which later turns brown. The medium-sized body is very strong. These animals are heavily boned. The head is gently rounded with a short, wide muzzle and a strong chin. The eyes are wide apart. The medium-sized, forward-facing ears have a broad base and a rounded tip. The back is straight, the chest is rounded. The legs are slender, the paws oval. The tail has no visible attachment and is very bushy and diversified at the end. The fur is of medium length and very fine. They wear a frill with longer hair around their necks. The tiffany's eye color comes in yellow or green.

In the United States, only the sand color is allowed. All Burmese and Malayan colors are allowed in Great Britain .
