British Longhair - Black Silver Shaded

The British Longhair (abbreviated: BLH), also British Longhair Cat or Highlander , is the semi- longhair variant of the British Shorthair . It differs from this only in the length of the coat and is bred according to the same breed standard .

history

The British Longhair was created by breeding the British Shorthair and the Persian Cat . It has not been bred as a separate breed for very long. Since many British Shorthair cats carry the mutation for longhair, it has happened again and again that long-haired animals were born from two British Shorthair cats. These were the starting animals for breeding the British Longhair. British Longhair and British Shorthair can be paired with each other.

Essence

The British Longhair is an intelligent, calm, and even-tempered house cat that clings closely to its humans. She is playful, curious, and friendly. She has a rather moderate urge to move.
