Asian is the name of a British breed of cats . She is also called Malayan .

Emergence

The Asian originated in the UK in the 1980s from an unintended cross between Persians and Burma . A litter of four boys was used by the breeder Miranda von Kirchberg as the basis for the creation of a new breed.

Appearance

Above all else, the Asian should be elegant. It should weigh between four and eight kilograms. It has a stocky body with relatively small and dainty legs and paws. The face should be wedge-shaped with pronounced cheekbones and chin. The permitted color spectrum for the oriental eyes is between yellow and amber. The big ears should stand far apart.

In general, the Asian is considered to be very temperamental. She is intelligent, curious and playful and also extremely active. It is very similar to Burma .
