Tijan Njie

Tijan Karim Njie (born December 18, 1991 in Herford ) is a German actor .

Life

Njie grew up with three siblings with his single, Tunisian mother. He has no contact with his father, who comes from Gambia . He completed high school in 2012 at the Königin-Mathilde-Gymnasium Herford .

2013–2015 Nije completed an acting training at the Film Acting School Cologne . In 2016 he appeared in supporting roles in the ZDF crime series SOKO Munich and SOKO Cologne . The following year he took more minor roles in the RTL - Series Sankt Maik and in the ARD -Fernsehfilm Billy Cuckoo - Margot must stay! as well as a leading role in the film Stifado . Since 2018 he has played the character of Moritz “Mo” Brunner in the RTL series Alles was geht . In 2020 he took part in the 13th season of Let's Dance , his assigned dance partner was Kathrin Menzinger . In the semifinals of the show, he was eliminated.

In addition to German, Njie speaks English as his mother tongue and has basic knowledge of French, Spanish and Arabic. In addition to beatboxing, he has also mastered various dance styles. He played football for ten years in various teams at SC Herford .
