Novels

The plot of the book is that the TV star and zoologist Hans-Anders Ridderström left a large collection of beetles, many films, a library and a huge archive to Prof. Baumgarten when he died. The collection reflects a researcher's life between the files of two hundred and sixty Leitz files: the banal, the important, the private, the curious, the ordered, the chaotic, the mature, the half-baked. In between, his former colleague Wendelin Baumgarten discovers Ridderström's life confession with explosive content. Ridderström's first wife Maria had died during an expedition in the South American jungle under circumstances that were never entirely clear. Their daughter Lena later died in a no less mysterious way in a Swedish marshland.
