Tim Linthorst (born July 3, 1994 in Apeldoorn , Gelderland province ) is a Dutch football player . He has been under contract with the Berliner AK 07 in the Regionalliga Nordost since 2017 and is usually called up as a central defender.

Career

Tim Linthorst began his football career in his hometown near Vitesse Arnhem . For the 2013/14 season he rose from the youth to the club's second team. After the 2014/15 season he left the club and joined De Graafschap Doetinchem , who were promoted to the Eredivisie . He made his debut for the new club and in the Eredivisie on the first day of the match. In the 1: 3 defeat against SC Heerenveen on August 11, 2015, he was used by coach Jan Vreman for the entire season. At the end of the season he went straight back to the Jupiler League with BV De Graafschap .

In the new league he made his debut on November 21, 2016 against the 2nd team from PSV Eindhoven . He came on in the 89th minute for Lion Kaak . They clearly missed direct promotion to the Eredivisie and Tim Linthorst then left the club.

He joined the Berlin AK 07 in Germany , which plays in the Regionalliga Nordost . On August 26, 2017, he made his debut for Berlin. In the 0-1 defeat against VSG Altglienicke , he was in the starting line-up and was replaced in the 77th minute. He scored his first goal for Berlin in the Berlin Cup in the 10-0 win against TSV Lichtenberg, where he scored the second goal in the 13th minute.
