Tim Legaard Duus Winkler (born February 14, 1986 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish handball player .

Career

Tim Winkler played in his youth for Sædding-Guldager Idrætsforening (SGI), Brabrand IF and TS 2000. From 2005, the 1.89 meter tall handball goalkeeper stood between the posts for Skjern Håndbold in the Håndboldligaen , the highest Danish division. With Skjern he participated in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Cup part and played in the 2013/14 season in the EHF European Cup . In summer 2014 he joined the first division club HC Midtjylland . For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Danish first division club Ribe-Esbjerg HH . He has been under contract with KIF Kolding since summer 2020 .

Winkler has played eight international matches for the Danish national team and made his debut on March 20, 2009 against Ukraine .
