Timios Stavros (Pelendri)
Timios Stavros ( Greek Τιμίος Σταυρος ) is a church building of the Cypriot Orthodox Church in Cyprus . The church was in 1985 by the UNESCO as part of the World Heritage Site Painted Churches in the area of Troodos in the World Heritage UNESCO added.

The church is located in Pelendri in the Troodos Mountains and is dedicated to the Holy Cross .
The Holy Cross Church had only one nave in the 13th century , later a north and a south aisle were added.
The frescoes also date from these times. The depiction of the Visitation of the Virgin shows the two children in their mothers' wombs, a rare detail in Byzantine art.
