Timo Latsch

Timo Latsch (born February 22, 1977 in Siegen ) is a German sports journalist.

The moderator, editor and commentator completed his training at Radio Siegen . Latsch was a football commentator for several radio stations such as Radio FFH , Antenne Bayern and Radio NRW . In 2003 he received the Radio Prize of the State Agency for Media North Rhine-Westphalia (LfM) for his reports . From 2005 to 2009 he worked for various television stations such as DSF and WDR .

Timo Latsch has been deputy head of the sports pool at RTL and n-tv since 2009 . He stands for n-tv as a presenter and expert in front of the camera, works for RTL as a commentator and reporter. Latsch was on site to report on the national soccer team at several sporting events. He was one of the few journalists who were allowed to accompany the newly crowned world champion from Rio to Frankfurt in 2014 with the winning aircraft. He also appears regularly on talk shows such as Sport 1 Doppelpass.

Since 2015 he has been commenting on football games for RTL and Nitro on the qualifying games of the DFB-Elf or games of the Europa League , for n-tv he has commented on several U21 international matches of the German national football team.

Timo Latsch has his own podcast at Audio NOW. In "Mein Spiel", famous football commentators tell about their greatest games.

Timo Latsch also gives seminars at various journalism schools and academies.
