Tino Jorio

Tino Jorio (born September 17, 1950 ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) from the canton of Zug . He is entitled to reside in Bellinzona .

biography

Jorio studied law in Freiburg im Üechtland and in 1976, after one year of practice, obtained the cantonal lawyer 's and notary's license . Between 1976 and 1998, the doctor of law worked as the secretary of the cantonal sanitary department, as a lawyer for a legal protection insurance company and as the head of the legal service of District Directorate II of the Swiss Federal Railways in Lucerne . From 1995 to 1998 he was a part-time chief judge. From May 1998 he was on the government council and until 2011 he was a land clerk. When Zug massacre on 27 September 2001 Tino Jorio was unhurt. The attacks in Oslo and on the island of Utøya , which Tino Jorio witnessed at first hand because he was on vacation in Oslo at the time, led, according to his own statement, to his retirement from politics and the office of land clerk at the age of 61 withdrew the pension.

Tino Jorio is married to Ruth Jorio-Haag. He has an adult daughter and an adult adopted son.
