Tino Loechelt (born August 13, 1965 in Alzey ) is a former German football player .
Career
The 1.63 m tall midfielder Tino Loechelt came to 1. FC Kaiserslautern as a C-youth from SV Schwarz-Weiß Mauchenheim . In 1983/84 he reached the final of the A youth championship with his club and led his team as captain in the 1: 3 defeat against VfB Stuttgart . In the second half of the same season he was then used for the first time in the professional team. On the 19th matchday he was substituted on against VfB Stuttgart in the Neckar Stadium in the 38th minute. After his debut, he was used in all other games except for two games. But then Loechelt suffered a cruciate ligament tear, so that he did not play a single game in 1984/85. In the following season he was only used sporadically and finally moved to Eintracht Braunschweig in 1986 .
Here he wore the number 10 on his jersey and was set as a regular player. In the very first season, however, he was relegated with Braunschweig from the 2nd Bundesliga . The following season in the Oberliga Nord was designed successfully and the direct promotion followed. In the following seasons Loechelt had to struggle with injuries again and was operated on several times on the knee. His club was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga again in 1992/93 and Loechelt could no longer help his club in the second half of the season.
He left Braunschweig in 1993 and returned to his home in the Palatinate. From 1994 he was player-coach for his hometown club SV Schwarz-Weiß Mauchenheim for a few years and coach of the B youth team at 1. FC Kaiserslautern for a year . After a few years of abstinence, he trained the SW Mauchenheim again. From November 2010 to August 2013 Loechelt coached the regional division RWO Alzey .
