Tissi Robinson

Tissi Robinson (born August 25,  1987 in Hameln ) is a German-American football player .

career

Robinson's American father was stationed in Germany as a soldier and met his wife there. Robinson, who in Emmerthal grew up, played for local club TSG Emmerthal football . At the age of 14 he moved to the United States, where his father was now living again, and began playing football in school in 2005. He was first used as a kicker , then later in defense. He received a scholarship to the Chadron State College (state of Nebraska ), in 2008 he returned to Germany and became a member of the Braunschweig Lions , with which he became German Champion in 2008.

In 2009 he went to the Calanda Broncos in Graubünden , Switzerland , was Swiss champion in his first year and was named the best player in the final. In July 2010 he won the European Cup EFAF Cup with Calanda, and in 2010 he won the Swiss championship title with the team. In August 2010 he joined the team of the Canadian Université Laval , with whom he won the Canadian University Championship, then played again for the Calanda Broncos in Switzerland, with whom he was again national champion in 2011. Robinson then played in the fall of 2011 at Foothill College (US state California ). In 2012, he won his fourth Swiss championship title and the Eurobowl with Calanda . In the 2013 season, his last year in Switzerland, Robinson won his fifth championship with the Calanda Broncos.

For the 2014 season, the 1.94 meter tall Robinson ( defensive back , wide receiver , kicker and returner ) returned to the Braunschweig Lions and thus to the highest German league. With the Lower Saxony he won the German championship in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019, and the Eurobowl in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

As a member of the German national team, he finished second in the 2017 World Games .
