Titular bishopric Achantus

Achantus ( Italian : Acanto ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of Akanthos in Macedonia on the Chalkidiki peninsula in the north of today's Greece . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Thessalonica .
