Titular diocese of Assus
Assus ( Italian : Asso ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishopric in the ancient city of Assos , which was in the Roman province of Asia (today western Turkey ). The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Ephesus .
