Titular diocese of Buthrotum
Buthrotum ( Italian Butrinto ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of Buthrotum in southern Albania near the present-day city of Saranda in the Epirus region . It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Actia Nicopolis .
