Louis-Bertrand Tirilly SSCC (born January 25, 1912 in Guilvinec , † October 25, 2002 ) was Bishop of Taiohae .

Life

Louis-Bertrand Tirilly joined the order of the Arnstein Fathers and was ordained a priest on July 25, 1937 .

Pius XII. appointed him on November 16, 1953 Vicar Apostolic of the Marquesas Islands and Titular Bishop of Buthrotum . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Quimper [Cornouailles] -Léon , André-Pierre-François Fauvel , on September 12 of the next year; Co-consecrators were Alfred Aimé Léon Marie CSSp , Vicar Apostolic of French Guiana Cayenne , and Pierre Bonneau CSSp, Vicar Apostolic of Douala .

He attended the first and second session of the Second Vatican Council . The Pope raised on 21 June 1966, the Apostolic Vicariate of the diocese and appointed him Bishop of Taiohae . He resigned from this office on March 17, 1970. Paul VI appointed him on March 17, 1970 titular bishop of Budua . He resigned from this office on September 27, 1976.
