Titular diocese of Carinola

Carinola has been a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church since 1969 .

Which emerged from the ancient Diocese Forum Popili diocese whose bishops are detectable since the end of the 11th century, and lifted in 1818 and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sessa Aurunca were combined, was in the province of Caserta in Italy . Today's small town Carinola is about 45 km northwest of Naples .
